Supplementary information

As well as showing results for individual questions or competencies in graphical form, it is also possible to add supplementary information to reports. In this example, the client asked that appraisers point to three key areas where the individual should most try to develop. This data is summarised at the end of the report, with numbers in brackets showing how many appraisers pointed to which questions. (E.g. in the example below, two appraisers pointed to question 7; one to question 11 and so on.) This kind of data can send a very clear message to the individual, and help them formulate an effective personal development plan.

It is also possible to allow appraisers to add "free text" comments, either reinforcing the message they have given in their ratings, or possibly to comment on something that wasn't addressed in the questionnaire. In the reports I produce, you can have whatever mix of these supplementary sections you wish, and can call them whatever you wish. For example, you might have two text sections, the first "What I like about X", the second "What I would like X to do differently".
